Shelby Imhoff, AMFT
Shelby Imhoff is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with over 7 years in the mental health field. Shelby received her Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Psychology in 2016, followed by a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College in 2022. Shelby also served over 8 years in the military and is passionate about the mental health of military and first responders.
Shelby has experience with adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, Autism, Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Codependency, Personality Disorders, and Grief and Loss. She works with couples and families, and has additional experience with Men’s issues She specializes in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and is trained in both Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP.)
Shelby approaches therapy from an integrative holistic view, incorporating the needs and values of the client. She is passionate about helping those who are struggling and providing the best care, leading to growth and healing.
Shelby conducts sessions at the Encinitas location and via telehealth.
