Reannan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CA #124925) who describes herself as an affirming, trauma-informed somatic psychotherapist who is passionate about the healing process. She takes a holistic approach to mental health, blending traditional talk therapy with strategies focused on the body and the nervous system. Her clients can expect a warm and welcoming space to create a new connection to self and move towards health and wellness.
A little bit about what somatic psychotherapy means: Somatic psychotherapy is a holistic approach to healing that integrates thoughts, emotions and physical sensations. It is based on the research and understanding that stress, trauma and past experience show up in our thinking patterns as well as holding/tension patterns in the body. In our work together, we will gently explore the connections between your physical and emotional experience, helping you build greater self-awareness, resilience, and ease. This collaborative, compassionate process can help you feel more present, regulated, and at home in yourself.
Reannan has been working in the mental health field since 2017, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Social Work, and is trained in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing® (Currently in Intermediate Level, Year Two and entering Advanced Level, Year Three in March of 2026). She has extensive experience working with issues related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, Complex-PTSD, childhood trauma, life transitions and the LGBTQ+ community.
She is passionate about healing trauma wounds on the individual and collective scale. An avid learner, she keeps up to date on advances in neuroscience and its implications in the field of mental health. In working with Reannan, you will find a compassionate partner in your journey to create change, healing, and health in your life and that, with time and commitment, you will find an improvement in your quality of life and your connection to yourself and others.
Reannan conducts sessions via telehealth in the morning hours Tuesday through Friday.
