Deanna Lack, ASW
Deanna is an Associate Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience dedicated to children, teenagers, and transitional age youth (TAY). She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University, along with a Child Development Associate Certification focusing on early childhood education. Deanna has worked in both school environments and outpatient clinics, developing expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Behavioral Modification to assist children and adolescents with various emotional and behavioral challenges. She employs play therapy techniques to empower younger children to express their feelings while fostering trust and uses CBT and DBT methods to help older youth cultivate healthier thought patterns and emotional regulation skills. Through this holistic and individualized approach, Deanna designs interventions that address specific needs, promoting resilience and personal growth among her clients.
