Danielle Lord, AMFT, APCC

Danielle graduated with her bachelors in Psychology and Spanish from Biola University in 2021 and completed her Master’s in Counseling Psychology in May 2023. Danielle’s background includes helping children and teens at La Jolla Psychology Center struggling w/autism, ADHD, difficult transition periods, and anxiety. In addition, she has worked at outpatient programs with individuals struggling with addiction, helping them obtain the support, education, and tools they need to get back on the right path. Moreover, Danielle’s strengths include both play therapy techniques to help young clients communicate their feelings as well as EMDR therapy to assist individuals in alleviating intrusive thoughts and overwhelming symptoms that persist following traumatic events.
Danielle’s dedicated to helping her clients access their best and highest selves, including incorporating family members support in fostering safety and establishing greater interpersonal connections. Danielle leads her client’s with the ultimate belief that everyone she meets is the expert of their own life, and looks forward to supporting those in her local Encinitas community.
Danielle is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (CA #139969) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (CA #14031) supervised by Jessica Anderson LMFT. She conducts sessions at the Encinitas location and via telehealth.
