Brianna Farnam, AMFT
Hi, I’m Brianna Farnam! I am a registered AMFT, and I specialize in supporting children, teens, and families through the complex challenges that come with growing up. My work is rooted in a warm, empathetic, and client-centered approach that fosters a therapeutic space where my clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to express themselves.
I have extensive experience serving high-needs and marginalized communities, and I am committed to providing accessible, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care. I draw from a range of developmentally appropriate, evidence-based modalities, including play therapy, EMDR, CBT, and DBT. I am currently a Foundational Theraplay Practitioner, EMDR trained and in progress toward EMDR Certification, Filial trained, and I am actively working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
In my work with children and teens, I focus on fostering emotional awareness, building regulation skills, improving communication, and strengthening family relationships. I collaborate closely with caregivers to ensure that progress carries into the home, school, and community. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every young person feels valued, capable, and equipped with tools for healthier, more confident growth.
