Megan Klingensmith, ASW
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping children navigate challenges and build lasting skills for growth.
My career began as a school social worker at the elementary level, where I supported students with social-emotional learning, conflict resolution, and coping skills. I have experience working with children in foster care and families facing homelessness, which has strengthened my dedication to providing safe and supportive care to clients of diverse backgrounds.
My clinical focus includes helping children develop emotion management skills, strengthen peer and family relationships, and build self-confidence. I use playful and creative techniques to encourage expression, process experiences, and discover healthy ways of coping.
Collaboration and a strengths-based approach guide my work with both children and families. Each session is tailored to the unique needs of the child, with the goal of fostering growth, self-understanding, and meaningful connections.
I look forward to supporting children and families as we work toward greater resilience and well-being.
