Ryan Wauson, ASW
Ryan Wauson, LCSW (he/they) is a clinical social worker who works with adults across the lifespan. They have experience across inpatient, intensive outpatient, community mental health, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy settings, and take an integrative, person-centered approach grounded in ERP, Behavioral Activation, psychodynamic therapy, and EMDR.
Their work focuses on supporting people who struggle with rigid thinking patterns, high self-expectations, perfectionism, burnout, and gender identity-related concerns, and includes working with individuals from the former Soviet Union.
Ryan holds a BA in Russian Studies from UCLA, an MA in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies from Stanford University, and an MSW from California State University, San Marcos. They currently participate in monthly consultation and fellowship programming through the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center.
